I have been teaching small children using the 1st edition of the English Land text. They are now almost finishing level 4. In the first edition, there were 6 levels. With the second edition, there are 5. In the midst of the COVID-19, I am not able to go to the bookstores to see if the level 4 or 5 is equivalent to the previous level 5. If you can please explain which levels of the old edition correspond to the new 2nd edition, it would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time and support.
Thank you for your question. The higher levels of English Land 2nd edition are not so different from the higher levels of English Land 1st edition. Therefore, the level of Level 5 is almost equivalent to the previous level 5. However, we recommend you to have a look at the samples because it could depend on the learning progress of your students. You can order the inspection copy of Level 5 from here. For your reference, you can download a comparison chart of the vocabulary and target words of English Land 1st edition and 2nd edition here.
