eText - How to Register

How to set up an account

1. Scratch off access code from your purchased product.
2. Access www.pearsonelt-etext.com.
3. Click the "Register Now" button.
4. To change your language, click the "Change Language" button on the left.
5. Enter your access code and click the "Next" button. * Please note that hyphens in access codes must be entered as well.
6. Confirm that the correct product title is displayed and click the "Next" button.
7. To create an account, click the "Create" button. If you already have a Pearson account, fill in your user name and password and click "Sign in".
8. Read the license agreement carefully, tick the confirmation checkbox and click the "Next" button.
9. Fill in the required information on the registration screen and click the "Next" button.
Please note that the user name must be at least six characters long. We recommend using the email address as the user name. Do not use numbers only.
The password must be between 8 and 32 characters long and contain at least one number. Do not use spaces, numbers only, your real name or user name as the password.

* If you cannot find an appropriate option in the affiliation dropdown menu, you can still register. Just click "ok" in the popup that will be appear if no choice was made and continue registering.
10. An email will be sent to your registered email address. Your registration is complete now.
* A link with the label "Go to product" will appear. If you have registered with a PC, you can move to the product page now.

If you have registered with a tablet, a link to the application store will appear. Please note that this link will not work in Japan. If you are in Japan, close the screen and refer to the section "Link to eText" in the How to Use eText support page for details about how to obtain the app.
